OLY: Hollway s job is not in jeopardy says Knight = 2

Later, in an e-mail addressed to all SOCOG staff, Mr Hollway included a copy of Knight's
statement.

He said Mr Knight also telephoned him to make the same points.

"For my part, I reiterated to him my firm belief that while there are challenges ahead
and much work to do, we are better placed now than ever to deliver a great games, and
that I had a total commitment to getting that job done in teamwork with everyone else,"

he said.

"I consider I have a duty to the athletes, to the Olympic movement, to the country,
and to you, the staff, to help deliver a Games we can be proud of."
